Sora 2 adds synced sound and sharper physics, with a new invite-only Sora app
OpenAI launched Sora 2, a video generation model with synchronised dialogue and sound effects and improved physical realism compared with the original Sora. It came with an invite-only Sora app for iOS where users can create videos and add consented likenesses of themselves through a cameo feature. For practitioners, it raised the bar for generative video quality and prompted new debate about consent, likeness and provenance controls.
