ChatGPT Health links medical records and wellness apps in a separate space
OpenAI introduced a dedicated Health space in ChatGPT where users can connect medical records (US only) and apps such as Apple Health and MyFitnessPal, with health chats kept separate and excluded from model training. The feature was developed with input from more than 260 physicians and initially excluded the EEA, Switzerland and the UK. For builders in health tech, it signals that consumer AI assistants are moving toward direct integration with personal health data, raising the bar for privacy and consent design.
